Project Start “Production of Knowledge and Institutional Support for Integrated Water Resource Management in Chad, ResEau (Phase III)” (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation)
Created by Kristin Seeber |In June 2024, AHT launched the newly acquired project in Chad and mobilised its team. Project director Andreas Havemann and his colleague Kristin Seeber, responsible for the technical backstopping, travelled to N’Djamena and visited the main partner institution, the CDIG (Centre de Documentation et d'Information Géographique) as part of the Ministry in charge of Water, as well as the Master HydroSIG of the University of N’Djamena.
The overall objective of the four-year project is to improve Chad's long-term resilience to climate variability through active management of IWRM data and improved knowledge of aquifers and surface water resources in Chad.
