Study tour for Mozambique delegation

As part of its service contract with its lead partner GAF AG, AHT hosted a two-day study trip on 24 and 25 October 2019, for a delegation of its national counterparts from the National Directorate for Water Resources Management (DNGRH) and its Regional Authorities (ARA).

During the delegation's two-day visit to Essen, AHT presented a variety of relevant technologies and know-how which have been implemented in a selection of completed and ongoing projects in more than five case studies. Those included but were not limited to Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and river basin management, information systems for cross-boundary water management, measures for climate change adaptation, data sources and data processing using drones, satellite imagery and GIS, groundwater quality in coastal areas, hydrological modelling for flow forecasting, upscaling information systems among others.

The delegation's visit to Essen was preceded with their two-day visit at the GAF headquarters in Munich.
