General description:
Our future projects shall deal with national and regional policies and strategies of waste elimination and with the establishment of suitable management systems.
Legal, institutional and financial aspects will play a key role in the future projects as well as design and implementation of solid waste elimination facilities.

Tasks:

Project management and coordination
Surveys, inquiries and investigations
Multidisciplinary studies
Technical planning and design
Works supervision
Staff training
Consultancy on organisation, management and operation

Detailed requirements

Education:
University degree in Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering or similar.

Country/Regional experience:
Western Africa, Northern Africa, Eastern Europe, Near East, South East Asia

Languages: Fully conversant with English and/or French

Expertise/Profile:
Broad experience in the (solid and/or hazardous) waste management sector:

Profound experience in master planning and feasibility studies
Technical, legal, institutional and/or organisational aspects
Experience in project management of international donor organisations (KfW, GTZ, EU, WB, AsDB, AfDB)
Training of civil servants, HROD
Team Leader experience advantageous
