AHT GROUP AG is a privately owned independent consulting firm which was founded in 1960. We offer management and engineering services in our core fields of activities, i.e. water, agriculture, environment and waste.

The scope of our services covers management and organisational aspects, institutional development and training, and the entire project cycle from preliminary site investigations and feasibility studies to detailed design, project implementation and evaluation.

Our clients include national and local government institutions, private sector companies and all the major international development organisations, e.g. Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit, European Commission, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, MCC and others.

The work is carried out with a high level of technical competence and with the aim of identifying and implementing solutions which are optimally tailored to our client’s requirements.

Five decades of worldwide activities have enabled us to build up a multi-disciplinary, multi-national team of full-time personnel with a sound mixture of qualified young and experienced senior experts. Supported by competent controllers, procurement specialists, personnel management staff, state-of-the-art ICT hard- and software, our experts plan, manage and implement projects in more than 25 countries.

In addition, we can draw upon a wide range of specialists from the other group members. Our continuously updated databank provides details of a large network of international freelance experts as well as specialised partner institutions and partner firms. We are thus able to mobilise precisely the right expertise for each individual task in our project portfolio.
